This is an online FPS game developed by Dragon Fly Co. and serviced by NeoWiz Games Co. launched in July
2004. It has records of 13 million members, and maintaining the position of first place in the game rankings for 79
consecutive weeks(From May 2005 to November 2006), and advanced abroad to 7 nations including America, China,
Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, and created more records such as first ranking game in Thailand
(September 2007), Over 10 thousand simultaneous connections in Japan (June 2007) and 45 thousand simultaneous
connections in the Philippines (March 2009).

B. SF Proleague Introduction |

The representative e-Sports event of Korea met the best e-Sports league.
Korean e-Sports Association announced the establishment of a domestic game Proleague with Special Force as
a gaming event which had much popularity, in February, with the agreements made with Dragon Fly Co. Starting
from the coming April 18(Sat), the Special Force Proleague will be processed in a full quarterfinal match, including
Ongamenet Sparkyz which already has a Special Force team, SK Telecom, STX, MBC Game, eSTRO, KT which
announced that they would newly establish teams, and the semi-clan teams ranking in the upper two in the SF
Pro-game Team Draft.
SFProleague went through 2 full league rounds of team matches, semi-final post seasons, and the grand finals
on August 6(Thu) in Gwang-an-ri Busan, first to do so for a domestic e-Sports event.

2. SFProleague 2009 1st Aspects |

1) Recommendation of Players' Fighting Play |
| |
|
The SFProleague encourages the Fighting Play, a unique aspect of FPS games, and communication among the players, providing more fun to the spectators at the spot. For this, all the game teams participating in the league agreed to not use the voice chatting program, promoting the realistic factor of the leagues and, showing dynamic matches which can be seen in FPS games only.

2) Rapid process of matches |

For the convenience of spectators and fans, the useless parts were boldly deleted. In this SFProleague league, switching players and additional strategy time were not allowed, showing rapid process of matches.

3) Expansion of use of strategies and tactics. |

|
Unlike the existing leagues, the scope of usage of strategies and tactics are expanded. The players are allowed to change their weapons after every set and for limitations on positions per team were regulated to under two snipers a team. Due to this, teams can play with shock troops only, could use the allowed 2 snipers, or could use surprise tactics by changing weapons after each set.

4) Usage of various maps |

For various viewing factors, 6 maps are used in the matches. For the map of the Proleague, the Desert Camp, Missile and Nerve Gas which are considered as the folk maps, and the maps that got great compliments in broadcasted leagues such as Satellite, EMP and Cross Road are planned to be used, thus the fans could enjoy the battles in various battlefields.

5) Usage of Female Characters(For Female Gamers Only) |

Female gamers can use female characters. Due to this, it is attracting attention on how much the Ongamenet Sparkyz which is consisted of female gamers only, and MBC Game Heroes, which have both male and female gamers will utilize this system.
