Korean e-Sports, which met its 10th anniversary, with the devotion of many associates, both internal and external, has furnished an infrastructure comparable to any other sports, and is currently being loved by more and more citizens as a new wholesome leisure culture. Furthermore, based on the long experience and much know-how, is solidifying the stance as the global leader, by providing the standards of the world's e-Sports.
Based on these efforts have has come to fruits that Korea e-Sports Association was approved as the 'recognised organization' by 'Korea Olympic Committee (KOC)'. This means that Korea e-Sports is starting to be settled as a 'official sporting event'.
Our association is not satisfied with the status quo, will work to make e-Sports as an official sporting event, which was the long-cherished desire of e-Sports, going on with the expansion of the basis of e-Sports, as well as the balanced development of professionals and amateurs.
Also, by reinforcing global interchange and collaboration, we will do our best to solidify the position of the suzerain state of e-Sports, in all sectors, especially the industrial and cultural sectors.
